Teen Titans, GO!... Oh, and I'm back

Just got back from holiday overseas 24hrs ago! here is my short summary of the trip:-

Food was nice (Winnie, I suggest you never go to Cambodia or you WILL die from starvation!), TV was muchos loved (CARTOON NETWORK IS MY SAVIOUR), I have a new appreciation for bodies of water (waterfall, lakes, murky fishing spots!), too many stuff I could not buy (*sadface*), I was a 24/7 diner for mosquitoes, did not bring moisturiser (bad BAD idea), funny asian snacks, wedding was boring as hell, got sick so many times (damn colds, which everyone was passing around to everyone else), lots of lol from funny book about the 'Dos & Don'ts in Cambodia' (all must read it! quote: "SLOWLY, SLOWLY in THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD"), met the Italian relatives (WHO LIVE 2HRS FROM MILAN AND VENICE!!), having a siesta nearly everyday (i think i've grown reliant!), being a total bitch to sis' 'hubby' (that man annoys me), learning how to make palm sugar (when its hot and melted it's delicious!), discovering that many people can't swim (and hearing of the tragic consequences), missed the chance to see a REAL PROPHET (thingy or whatever!), seeing Angkor Wat for the 1988968986545th time, having not spent a single ounce of my own cash (as everyone else bought me anything and everything I wanted), getting re-in-touch with khmer history (quite interesting it all is), MISSING AUSTRALIAN LAND - THE LAND WHERE THERE IS JUSTICE AND MUCHLY APPRECIATED ROAD RULES.

If you would like an extended version, then you will not get it. On other news, I've had the Teen Titans theme song running through my head for the last few days! GREAT CARTOON!!! Also got addicted to Fantastic Four Animated, and fell in love all over again with the Powerpuff Girls. I think what I will miss most of Cambodia is their TV channels! HBO IS LOVE.

A Birthday and Unhappy Thoughts

My birthday was on the 19th of this month, so now I'm officially an old-fart at the age of 20! Go me! Anyway, I hadn't actually planned on doing anything this year to commemorate the special (or not so) occasion, so I thought the mildly planned day of shopping with some of the girls was definitely enough fun for me. We spent the day in Fremantle, enjoying the feel of a wonderful sea breeze, a peaceful atmosphere, and a good lunch at Dome (kudos to Ling <3).
But that wasn't all - some friends had organized a lovely get together at some random person's house that was half shared as a sorta surprise gathering for me and Winnie (whose bday is the 21st! So Happy Bday Bub!) We all spent the night playing some boardgames (Sale of the Century can get quite competitive doesn't it lol), eating and just talking. It was pleasant =) And what just made it more awesome was that they had got that delicious butter cake for me that makes me go "squee" XD! THANKS SO MUCH Y'ALL!! MUCHOS LOVE TO YOU =) It really made an already fabulous day perfect!

JUST FOR ME: I was just thinking about the future really, and how carefree I've been up till now. Now a care in the world, big hopes, big dreams, no big problems to make me drown - there was just - nothing. Nothing. Absolutely fucking nothing of substance that could hurt me. Was I a naive and dumb kid to think it would last? Perhaps - but I was happy living in my world of make believe, and rainbows. My world where I was great, I was unbeatable, I was - just me. Where it was ok to just be me. It was bliss to think of tomorrow and not have to worry about the consequence of a small action or of what people say. Why does everyone have to keep bringing me down when I've already sunk - even those who had promised to keep me afloat? They think they know me, they think they care - they 'think' why can't they 'know'! I'm not a kid anymore - I know, but I can still dream, can still hope, can still believe in what only children can imagine.... If Peter Pan can hear me now, then I'd like to take the first flight to Neverever Land. Direct please.

Confused? Thats Ok - I am too. Feeling a little bit emo. I don't like feeling this way - its very foreign to me and makes me want to jump of a cliff. Really it does.

Wallet Went on Walkies

HOLY FUCK. I lost my wallet a few days ago. And I've been emo all weekend. BUT I guess I'm over it now! I recover quickly! Except for that time that my family went for a trip overseas and, for safe keeping, I decided to hide my gameboy-pocket somewhere so ingenius that noone would find it. When we got back however, it seems my super geniusness even surpasses myself and I didn't quite remember where I had it. RIP gameboy. I'm still missing you lots.

I was walking through the textile building on the university campus the other day since I got a class there (Bizarre! Language class in the textile building!), and I just have to say that what they do there totally SHITS ON THE ARTSY STUDENT'S WORK. It is like amazing! I mean like amazing - I was already amazed by what the art department can do, but textiles just takes it to a whole new level!

So anyways, nothing fabulous has been happening, life is a bore-bore. OH, but my cousin is going on a trip next month, and he's going to leave all his pretty little electronics and items at my house! That means mac notebook, wii, playstation, psp, nDS, and a whole lot of delicious video games.

Anyways, not gonna be doing much with this until I learn how to wrap my head around the html coding and stuff hahahaha. Ok bye now x3
